Ushuaia

In the extreme south of Argentina, on the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, is Ushuaia…The end of the world …, the most southern city in the world. It is the capital of the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands. A mythical, distant and immense place... also known as the gateway to Antarctica.

Only 12 km. from Ushuaia is the entrance to the “Tierra del Fuego National Park”, which combines marine, forest and mountain environments, giving a singular shape to the sea coast, lakes, valleys, extensive peatlands and magnificent forests dominated by lengas, sour cherries and ñires. Hiking lovers find all kinds of options on its perfectly marked trails; whether they are of high, medium or low difficulty.
The legendary Beagle Channel bathes its shores. Excursions to explore it aboard catamarans, sailboats, motorsailers, and yachts depart from the dock located in the center of the city. A great opportunity to spot sea lions, cormorants, petrels, condors, seagulls and the adorable penguins.
